Crane Hire

At Keith Rhodes Machinery Installations Ltd, we operate HIAB cranes, also known as Lorry Loaders. These are used to move and install machines of different sizes and weights with varied site access.

The advantages of using lorry loaders, such as our Fassi 1000 AXP and FASSI 710 with a L414 fly jib, compared to standard mobile cranes, is the ability to work in confined spaces with its 27m reach. In turn, this reduces the time taken to move additional machinery and will cause as little, if any disruption to your production.  As an added benefit, these can also be operated by remote control. This gives the operator the ability to move around the load and visually assess the lift, thus increasing the safety factor.

All our staff are NPORS and ALLMI trained, allowing them to safely load, unload and manoeuvre equipment and understand the responsibilities of using the HIAB crane.

Having the crane mounted at the rear of the trailer does not compromise the lifting capacity of the crane or the available bed space.
